Booking It

It's official!
Feel free to recommend any books you think I would enjoy. Fiction, Crafting, Sewing, Music, Biographies, Photography...
You'd think with 3 libraries in Burbank and living here over 3 years, I would have visited at least one of them. I thought the $1 Bookstore was a find. Hopefully I can be just as successful at a library getting books for free. :)

I still need to visit the library near me. It's only three blocks away. Okay, here you go for recs:
Stieg Larsson's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played With Fire, and (unless your library is awesome, you'll have to wait for it because it just came out) The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest
Rob Marshall - Love Is A Mixtape
Sarah Vowell - Assassination Vacation
Seth Grahame-Smith - Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
Thanks for the recs Jai. I'll check them out!
YAY!!!
I would see if they have any e-mail lists you can sign up for - once a month mine sends out an e-mail with recs in a bunch of different genres.
I recommend The Hunger Games series(Suzanne Collins).
And also the numbers series by Janet Evanovich - One for the Money is the first. (Katherine Higel's new movie is based on it).
Biography - The most recent one I've read is called Loving Frank - it;s about a lady Frank Lloyd Wright had an affair with. It was pretty good. I need to read more of those!!
Oh and the book I gave away in my blog - Spiced by Dalia Jorgenson (sp). It was good little read.
Anita Shreve is my most favorite author - just about anything by her is worth reading. The Pilot's Wife is her most popular, but Sea Glass is my favorite.
I have a long list of books to read that I've accumulated from my library's e-mails - LMK if you'd like it :)
